FREQUENTLY ASKED FRONT GATE QUESTIONS
1. WHEN ARE THE GATES GOING TO BE INSTALLED?
The gates are scheduled for installation on Monday, December 9, and Tuesday, December 10.

2. WHEN WILL THE GATES FUNCTION?
The exit gate will continue to function automatically, opening upon approach as it has in the past. The entrance gate, however, will remain inactive until it is ready for activation. At this time, we anticipate activation by July 7, 2025, though this date is subject to change.

3. WHAT HAPPENS IN A POWER OUTAGE?
In the event of a power outage, the gates are equipped with their own battery, allowing them to operate for up to 400 openings. If the battery is depleted, the gates will automatically move to the open position. Once power is restored, they will return to their previous operational state.

4. HOW WILL THIRD PARTY ACCESS THE PROPERTY?
We are coordinating with the various companies to ensure they have the necessary access. More updates on this will follow in the future.

5. HOW WILL MY GUESTS ACCESS THE PROPERTY?
There will be four ways to gain access through the gate system once it’s activated:
5a - License Plate Recognition: An AI camera will read the license plates of registered vehicles with HHPOA and automatically open the gate.

5b - FOB Access: You can use your assigned FOB to gain entry.
5c - Pin Code: Each user will have an assigned PIN code, which can be used as a backup if you forget your FOB or need to provide access to a guest.

5d - Video Intercom System: A video system will connect to the front desk during office hours or the HHPOA board (if online), allowing communication and remote gate access.

7. WHAT IS THIS $500 TAIL GATE FINE?
The board voted on that anyone driving through the normal operating gate will be fined $500, in addition to being responsible for any damages caused. There is no fine for tailgating.
